Mixing classic Mission style with gently curved arm rests, the futon frame complements traditional and transitional interiors. The futon frame offers three different positions: sofa, sleeper, and 120-degree reclining lounger. All metal clic-clic hinges snap in place on each side to secure the frame in each mode. Equipped with metal seat and back decks, the futon frame benefits from solid wood arms, arm rests, stretchers, and leg posts. The side of the each arm features two wood pickets in the center, book-ended by two solid beveled wood panels. For a polished appearance, the futon frame is finished in dark espresso brown lacquer. The futon frame requires the separate purchase of a futon mattress. Upon delivery, home assembly is necessary; all necessary hardware comes with the futon frame. A limited one-year warranty covers the futon frame. As a sofa, the futon frame measures 83-1/4 inches long by 36 inches wide by 31 inches high while it measures 83-1/4 inches long by 54-1/2 inches wide by 23-1/4 inches high as a bed.
