NEW YORK CITY-Incisive Media’s Real Estate Group, a leading provider of intelligence to the commercial real estate industry, has announced a major restructuring in its sales force with the hiring of four media specialists. The commercial real estate media outfit has hired these sales professionals to support its previously announced integrated sales platform. While all of the new hires will have a primary area of specialization–print, online or conferences–all come with the experience and mandate to provide advertising and sponsorship initiatives support across all product types.

Matt Moore has been named associate publisher of  Real Estate New York, overseeing that magazine’s expanding print and digital initiatives. His responsibilities encompass all New York advertising and sponsorship initiatives for RENY as well as for GlobeSt.com and RealShare New York.

Moore comes with 10-plus years of multi-platform sales experience with media firms such as Time Warner, Macfadden Publishing Inc., Euro RSCG MVBMS and Grey Healthcare Group. Reporting directly to senior vice president Gregg Christensen, he replaces former associate publisher Josh Simon, who has moved on to pursue other endeavors.

“Matt assumes this post as we build on our print, digital and conference success,” said Michael Desiato, vice president and group publisher of the Incisive Real Estate Group. “Matt’s depth of experience as a sales and marketing professional and his ability to develop and maintain client relationships make him our choice to take all of our New York-based products to a new level.”

Further solidifying the Incisive Media’s Real Estate Group sales team is Christina L. Mattisz, who has been appointed Account Executive for the highly successful RealShare Conference Series. As part of her responsibilities, Mattisz, who also reports to Christensen, will explore synergies and potential growth opportunities that pertain to the Group’s print and online vehicles. Prior to her new position, she served as Advertising Sales Executive for Newsday Media Group.

Desiato also announced that Rafael Ortiz and Kimberly Last have joined the conference series as Producers responsible for planning and executing a number of RealShare in-person and online events over the course of the year. They will also be contributing to the marketing and production of the GlobeSt.com Webinar Series. Both of these executives will report to Colleen McShane, Conference Manager.

Ortiz’s career in media marketing includes stints at Dow Jones & Co.; NewBay Media; Advanstar Communications Inc.; Institutional Investor and the Institute for International Research.

Last was formerly at Forbes Digital, where she served as Audience Development Manager for Investopedia.

Ortiz will coordinate our New York (Oct. 28); Houston (Nov. 19) and Dallas (Dec. 2) RealShare Events and can be contacted at 212.457.9746 (rafael.ortiz@incisivemedia.com). Last will be producing RealShare South Florida (Sept. 30); Medical Office Buildings (Nov. 13) and Northern Virginia (Dec. 1) and “We’re delighted to welcome Matt, Christina, Rafael and Kim to our team,” said Desiato. “They are all highly accomplished and dynamic professionals with a proven track record of sales and program development in a variety of market segments.”
